"I don't believe people need fixing. I believe they need understanding, compassion, and the opportunity to reconnect with the strengths that have always been within them." N.S.

About Me

Compassionate, holistic counselling to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and what matters most to you.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be carrying anxiety, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, burnout, or simply a sense that you've lost connection with who you are. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to navigate it alone.

I believe that every person's story deserves to be heard with understanding, empathy, curiosity, and genuine care.

My role isn't to tell you who to become, it's to walk alongside you as you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your emotional wellbeing, quality of life, and move towards a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable. That's why creating a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly listened to is at the heart of everything I do.

My Approach

My counselling approach is genuine, collaborative, and evidence-informed while recognising the close connection between our inner wellbeing, nervous system, relationships, lifestyle, and life experiences.

Rather than focusing only on managing symptoms, I work with clients to understand the deeper patterns that influence how they think, feel, relate to others, and respond to life's challenges.

Every person's story is unique, so therapy is never a "one-size-fits-all" process. Together we work at a pace that feels right for you, combining emotional exploration with practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

I believe healing happens through authentic human connection. I aim for every client to leave each session feeling heard, understood, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.

How I Work

No two people are the same, and neither are their counselling journeys.

Some people come to counselling during a particularly difficult chapter of life, while others want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, build emotional resilience, or create lasting change. Wherever you are in your journey, we'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you; clarify your values, strengthen your sense of self, and move forward with confidence.

Our sessions are collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique experiences, goals, and strengths. Together, we'll explore not only what you're experiencing, but also the underlying patterns that may be contributing to it, helping you develop greater self-understanding and lasting emotional resilience.

Depending on your needs, we may:

  • Explore emotional patterns and the experiences that have shaped them

  • Better understand stress, emotions, and nervous system responses

  • Develop practical tools you can use both during sessions and in everyday life

  • Strengthen confidence, self-worth, and self-compassion

  • Improve communication, relationships, and healthy boundaries

  • Process grief, trauma, or significant life transitions

  • Rediscover with your strengths, values, and sense of self.

I draw from a range of evidence-informed approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based practice, trauma-informed and attachment-informed care, mindfulness, psychoeducation, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation.

Rather than following a single therapeutic model, I thoughtfully integrate these approaches to meet your individual needs and goals, helping you develop practical skills, deeper self-understanding, and meaningful, lasting change.

My goal isn't simply to help you cope with life's challenges, but to help you understand yourself more deeply so that change feels lasting, empowering, and genuinely your own.

A Personal Note

Seeking support is one of the most courageous decisions we can make. Whether you're navigating a difficult chapter, looking to better understand yourself, or simply wanting life to feel lighter, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Healing isn't about becoming someone new, it's about reaching again the person you've always been beneath life's challenges. Sometimes, the first step is simply giving yourself permission to begin.
